House Buying

So we are off to Chicago this afternoon to hopefully close on our new house on Monday. The process of buying this house has been anything but smooth, and at this point it looks like we won't know if the closing will actually happen until Monday morning. It has been a very hectic and chaotic few weeks for us as the reality of moving has finally set in, and we will all be so relieved to see each other and finally be in one place. Alec really has been a trouper through it all, and we are so relieved that he handles all this travel and change so well. That being said, he has been a bit of a pickle for me the last few weeks, and I think he really needs to be reunited with his daddy full time. So - fingers crossed, and we will let you know the news when we get home next week. The pics are just a few randoms - we have been too busy for many pics lately.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy V-Day!! Alec and I had a fun V-day weekend - it started off with a playdate at Holland and Riley's house, where Alec got to hang with his buddies, make homemade valentines, and decorate cookies.

Audrina made a wiser choice and decided not to pile in the learning tower with these three nuts.

On Sat we headed over to Grammy's house. We decided since Matt was away that we would spend the holiday weekend over there. As always, Alec had a blast. Here he is helping Grammy get ready for her V-Day dinner.

We're back

Long time, no post. We got back on Sunday night from another 10 day stay with Matt in Chicago. Nothing major to update, we had to get a bit creative with Alec since it is too cold to go outside and we can't do any running around in the apartment w/o making the neighbors below us mad, but we still managed. Alec loves every second he gets to spend with his dad, so the trip was a hit for him. Here are a few random pics from the week.
