Update

Just a quick update - the sun was out and the snow melted (we foolishly thought for good!)  Charlie runs around like a maniac with his cast and is not the least bit slowed down by things like climbing trees.  Josh continues to be the fastest 2 year old scooter rider in town
We moved the bball hoop to the back patio and have been loving it
Someone got over their fear of the Hulk costume
Alec competed in the all Wheaton chess tournament on Saturday.  He's been going to chess club once a week for the last 3 months and apparently he has really been paying attention b/c he took 2nd place in the first grade division!  Pretty crazy since there were probably 9 other schools there.  He played 5 matches, won 3 of them and tied 2.
Guess our little sports star is also a strategic thinker:))
We went to Alec's schools yearly spring fling fundraiser on Saturday night.  The theme this year was the Grammys and one of our friends works for Hilton, so he got us all a free limo.  We had the best time, danced the night away - I'll tell you these Wheaton parents really know how to party:)
Kid Rock and Eminem were a part of our entourage
I bought a new coffee table from the silent auction at the fundraiser
...and we got a new trampoline and put it together on Sunday
Matt and I jumped with the boys for so long on Sunday that both our legs hurt!  Only sad news is that is decided to snow about 6 inches on Sunday night, so the boys haven't had a chance to get back  on
Alec teaching Charlie the crab walk - part of a gym class activity:)  Happy Spring

Happy Birthday Charlie

Happy happy 4th birthday to our sweet Charlie Matthew!  Charlie has more personality and spunk than the rest of us combined, and we all adore him and all his crazy ways!  In very true Charlie form, he fell off the monkey bars in the basement the week before his birthday and broke his wrist, so our planned ski trip/waterpark vacay for his birthday had to be canceled, but we had a great time celebrating our little bruiser nonetheless.  He chose to go back to Medieval Times (which is especially funny b/c the only other time we have been was on his 2nd birthday and we drove directly there from the ER after Charlie had gotten stitches above his eye:)  Anyway, all the boys loved the show and have been running around battling each other with swords since.  We spent the day of his birthday playing at the house with his new loot (tanks and superheros were a big theme this year) and then had over a couple of his friends for cake and ice cream.  Charlie had a great day, was spoiled by his family, and is now happy to tell you that he is 8 years old.....
He was very happy with the construction cone orange color
The boys NEVER wear jeans, but decided to dress up in them for Medieval Times:)
What happens after you take 3 boys to Medieval Times
Alec used his own money to buy Charlie a present this year....a talking hulk.  Charlie nicknamed himself Mini Hulk a few months ago, so very fitting
Notice Josh with the tanks, he has been walking around with no less than 5 of them cradled to his chest since Sunday....
 Taking some birthday phone calls
Hulk gloves and a mask from Aunt Kat and Uncle Mike are also really fun (unless you're Josh, who hates them and runs around saying "I no like it,") whenever anyone has on the mask
We love you so so so much Squatty!
