Busy Fall

It's been awhile since I've added any pictures.  Fall, like always, seems to be flying by and we have been loving all that comes with the season; school, holidays, sports:)  Here's a bit of what we've been up to.
School run-a-thon, both Alec and Charlie took it very seriously:)
We had a great fall visit with Grammy, who gets all the credit for our awesome house Halloween decorations.
Josh is doing great in afternoon preschool. but he is still adjusting to no more naps.
 Boo!

Alec is loving his new travel soccer team, above is a pic of the 3 v 3 Columbus day tournament that they won:)
Charlie also had a great season playing park district soccer, and really grew a lot as a player
We also had a visit with Papa Gene and Grandma Susan
Josh with his James Harden beard for Halloween, too bad he decided he was terrified of it and wouldn't wear it
Matt and I sporting some flag football gear for a Halloween party
 Super Charlie and JJ Reddick
Josh's preschool Halloween party, he decided he hated the James Harden beard, after of course insisting that the was what he wanted to be for Halloween.  He refused to wear the beard for the show and only put it on for this picture after being forced.
Lots of Cubs games and celebrations!
 Pumpkin carving

At the last minute we decided on a costume change and Charlie went as James Harden - Josh was happy to be Charlie's originally planned Steph Curry instead
 Happy Halloween
We had absolutely perfect weather on Halloween and the boys spent a good 3 hours out trick-or-treating
The great weather also meant a lot of visitors to our house.  When Matt got home, about 45 minutes after trick-or-treating started, he started using the counter and logged 539 kids to our house:)

We ended Alec's fall season with a mom's vs. kids game
My girlfriend and I took the boys downtown to the Cubs victory parade
This is at the train station - doesn't even come close to showing show totally chaotic it was
And what would fall be without leaf piles....
