Catch Up

Just a bunch of pics from the last month.  We have been busy, my dad and Loretta came for a visit the week of Father's Day and my mom came last Thursday and is here with us all week.  It's been raining like crazy, but we've still managed to spend lots of time outside.  Yesterday we spent over an hour riding bikes in the parking lot of a funeral home down the street that was filled with puddles - these boys are crazy and are LOVING the summer!!
I finally got tired of paying to have the boys hair cut, so we bought some clippers when Papa Randy and Retta were here.  Papa volunteered to let us practice on him.
Retta and Josh were great pals
Post-nap Squatty snuggles
Charlie's latest head trauma - he tripped on the rug and fell directly into the corner of the wall in the sun room.  It's actually looking much better after a few days and didn't require a trip to the hospital.
This one figured out how to stand up
This one is 100% ham all the time
and this one lost another tooth - front and center this time

Go Cubs

We went to the Cubs game on Sunday and had a great time.  Wrigley field is so cool and the boys did great, especially considering we had Charlie and Josh in tow.  Our sports nut Alec LOVED the game, he literally did not take his eyes off of the action the entire time.  I couldn't even get him to get out of his seat to come and get an ice cream cone with me, and you better believe he wanted to stay for all 9 innings!
And just a few cute shots of the mobile Hobbit getting into trouble:)

Summer

3 hours of entertainment yesterday...as you can see, Charlie is just as timid as Alec was as a toddler - ha:)

Life is Good

Mowing the lawn is now a 3 man job
Alec is always touching Matt, which is really sweet b/c he is a very non-affectionate boy.  I thought this was so sweet
 Science experiments
Brady and Alec on the  last day of preschool - they did a Wizard of Oz play.  Alec was a tornado.
Too bad the slide on this pool split before I ever filled it with water.  They were in heaven for about 30 minutes

 Hilarious....

Aunt Kat and Uncle Mike Visit

Before we headed to the lake for Memorial Day we had a visit with Aunt Kat and Uncle Mike who stopped by on their way to Dayton, their new home for the next year.  We enjoyed showing them around Wheaton and had a lot of fun catching up.  The boys can't wait to meet their newest girl cousin in a few months:)

Alec has been begging for a nerf gun, and I finally relented.  He and Uncle Mike had lots of fun with it.
Just breaking them in to our craziness
