Lucky

We are a little behind the times over here, but we finally got on board with Elf on the Shelf.  All of Alec's buddies have elves at their houses and so he has been talking about them all month.  So, we decided to get on board and wrote a note to Santa to ask if he had any extra elves he could send to our house.  Alec was THRILLED to find an elf on his alarm clock when he woke up yesterday morning.  We got a girl elf (so mom's not the only one in the house, and maybe b/c Target was all out of boys:) and Alec named her Lucky Erin Sungy.  He is enamored.  This is how I found him in his room yesterday after school.  Hopefully Lucky decides to work her magic and follow us to Colorado tomorrow.

Happy Holidays

We are having fun with Christmas prep and getting excited around here.  Hope you are too!
Getting a good pic of all three boys under the tree together for our X-mas log may be an impossibility
Alec was an elf in his Christmas show
Gingerbread house making with the neighbors
I was really impressed with their finished product
We pulled out the activity mat for Josh tonight - middle baby seemed to like it too:)

Happy Thanksgiving

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.  We spent the week in Savannah and enjoyed great food, company and weather.  I survived my first flight alone with all 3 boys, they were actually terrific, and we all had a great mini-vacay.  We did lots of playing outside and eating, we ran a Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning and both Alec and Charlie got to do their own individual races, which was a complete riot, we took a trip to the beach, and did some sight seeing in downtown Savannah.  It is always such a fun and relaxing trip, and we loved the addition of 2 more sweet babies this year.  Thanks so much Dad and Retta.
Charlie LOVED getting to sit at his own table instead of in a high chair.
 Alec before his Kids K.
 Charlie observing from the sideline
Alec sprinted the entire race this year, no pacing himself.
 Charlie in the Diaper Dash
The race crew - props to Uncle Ross who came in 3rd place in the entire race of over 1,000 runners.  He is officially a bad as*, and completely idolized by his 5 year old nephew.
 We played lots of soccer
and only lost the ball to the lagoon once
 Charlie and Ava
 Josh loved snuggling with Retta
Papa got Charlie his own mini jeep - it was a hit
These 2 lunatics went in the very chilly water
