Hope everyone had a great New Year's Eve! We celebrated w/ Abby and Ross and a few of their friends. They had a dinner party at their house and allowed us to bring both Alec and Brody, which was great! Alec went right to bed at 7:30, and then against dad's wishes was woken up by mom at midnight to watch the ball drop w/ the rest of us. He was fairly dazed, but did manage to smile at us all before going back to bed. And...to bring in 2009 he decided to sleep in until 9a.m.!! We think it might have had something to do with the fact that he was sleeping in the walk in closet that was pitch black and had no windows. Regardless, it was a great treat for mom and dad and Matt now wonders if we should wake him up for 10 minutes at midnight everynight to increase morning sleep in times!
