Who Needs

...a lawnmower, when you have a snow blower? (and no, we didn't take the plunge and buy one, it's the neighbors.)

Who needs the stairs, when you have your brother's step stool?

Who needs a puppy, when you have a 10 month old?

Who needs a cookbook, when you have a big brother?

**On an unrelated note, Alec has said a couple of hilarious things in the last few days. This weekend he was asking permission to do something and Matt said yes. Instead of accepting Matt's answer, he came and asked me. When we asked him why he did that, he told us very seriously that it was because I was the boss of Alec and Daddy was the boss of Brody:)
Then tonight at dinner he told us that scientists say that you have to try salad at least 12 times before you can say whether or not you like it - ha, thanks preschool:)

12 times???? I LOVE that understanding. With that logic he'll never be able to say no to anything because he won't know which time he's on exactly. Yep, gotta love the preschool!

Love the update. They look like they are starting to have fun together. I wonder what they were cooking?

Too cute. I love it. James has done that before with asking both of us too. Especially if it is for a treat...like he can't believe he can really have it, so he has to double check with the other parent. 4 year olds are hilarious.

Alec's adoration of Dad is endearing. Now we see Charlie's adoration of Alec. Great pic's Mom. What does our baby "puppy" have in his mouth...a bagel or a dog toy? Jon and I got a good chuckle out of the liking salad explanation.Reiterating what he heard you know he's having to chew on the thought!

I think it's funny how entire lives will be chronicled on the internet. This generation will be the first who's lives will be completely public.
