Pearl Street & Ice Cream

Matt and I found an old gift certificate that we had to Happa, so we headed up to Pearl Street yesterday afternoon w/ Alec. It was a beautiful night and Alec had a complete ball running up and down the mall. He was fascinated w/ the people, the music, the flowers, and all of the different things to climb on. He also sampled his first bite of sushi, which he did not seem to be a fan of, and had his first ever ice cream cone. We stopped at Haagen Dazs on the way back and they had kids cones on the menu, so we figured why not. Unfortunately, the kids cone wasn't any smaller than an adult cone. Alec loved holding the ice cream cone, running with it, and smearing it in his hair. He wasn't too into eating it, but he enjoyed it nonetheless, and he was quite a hit running down the mall w/ ice cream all over himself and an upside down cone in his hand. Plus, it was still fairly cool out, so the ice cream stayed on the cone the entire way back to our car.

Meeting the pig outside a stationary store - he loved snorting at it.
