We have had a busy Spetmeber - Alec had his b-day on the 12th, my 30th was last week, and Matt got a new job! He is now the director of marketing at Kelty. It worked out great b/c it is literally a mile away from Celestial in Boulder - so he gets to keep his beautiful drive into work in the mornings. His last day at Celestial was Friday, and then he had Monday and Tuesday of this week off. It was so fun to have him home - the three of us had a great time enjoying the beautiful fall weather. Alec is doing great, his walk has progressed to a run, and he is on the move constantly! Some of his favorite things right now are carrying around Brody's leash - he gets it out of the drawer in the kitchen every morning, pushing around a cooking pot like it is his popper, finding anything and everyting he can and handing it to us, saying lots of dada's (were still not sure if he gets it though - b/c both Matt and I are dada), clapping his hands when he gets excited, carrying around a stuffed pooh bear and giving it hugs, every kind of rough housing, playing peekaboo and LOVING his forward facing car seat. He is also in a little storytime yoga class right now that is a total kick - he basically just runs around like a maniac while the little girls in class hang around their moms and attempt some yoga. He also LOVES trucks. I swear I have heard him try and say truck a few times, but it comes across more like "uck," which my mom tactfully told me did not sound so good. Anyway....here are some cute pics from the last few weeks.

I'm One

1. Alec is officially one year old!! He had a great weekend and his first b-day party. He wasn't too interested in opening presents or eating any cake (crazy I know,) but he still managed to have a heck of a time and is very grateful for all the wonderful gifts he recieved.
