Another 5K in the books for Alec, he took 4th place in the U10 kids, which is amazing, especially since the entire time Matt and I were slowing him down and telling him to pace himself - next race were just gonna let him loose

Busy November
We've had a busy, fun filled month. In the first few weeks of November we had crazy nice fall weather, which we took full advantage of. Matt was able to put up 3/4 of the Christmas lights in 60 degree, sunny weather:)
Some help from the boys with the lights
We rode the train downtown to check out the new Magey Daley park, which is awesome! We also brought all the boys' scooters, and they cruised all over downtown Chicago. Was a pretty cute scooter gang.
Exactly one week later the temperature dropped to 5 degrees, just in time for Alec and I's trip to the Bronco game.
It was absolutely freezing, but we had seats 6 rows up from the end zone and sat around a ton of Bronco fans. We both LOVED it, worth every frozen toe.
Quick meet up with Hayden and Mark
These 2 crazies sat right in front of us - they are from Denver and travel to an away game every year in their awesome jump suits.
The dump truck behind Alec is Caterpillar's biggest machine, it can hold 400 tons and has wheels 14 feet high.
Fun times! Happy Thanksgiving

Seriously?!!??
Then this week we took a short road trip down to Peoria to check out the Caterpillar museum with our friends. The 6 boys had a blast staying in the hotel, swimming, and checking out all the awesome construction equipment. The dump truck behind Alec is Caterpillar's biggest machine, it can hold 400 tons and has wheels 14 feet high.
