How cute am I?

Playtime

Chase is another activity Alec is extremely fond of. Here are some pics we took the other night before bed, he is running from me in a few of them.

Chores

Alec is really into copying everything mom does right now. This includes chores around the house. He is specially fond of pushing the broom and vacuum, watering the plants, helping transfer clothes from the washer to the dryer, and putting things away in drawers. There have actually been several times this week that I have had to call my own cell phone b/c someone has hidden it somewhere in the house. He is also obsessed with books - he will bring a book to you and set it in your hands and then try to climb in your lap so you can read it together. However, he really likes to turn the pages, so you have to read really fast. When no grown-ups are around, Alec likes to read his books by himself.

Not a baby anymore

Over the last few weeks it has really hit us how big Alec has gotten. He really doesn't seem to have any "baby" left in him. We look at him and see a little boy now, which is just crazy, but also so fun to watch. 13 months is definitely a fun age. Here are some cute pics - my mom and Ross closed on their new house on Thursday, and Alec had a blast running wild in the big empty rooms. I suggested they keep it as a "play" house for Aleb, but......
