I'm a little behind on Josh's 7 month pics, but life is crazy around here! We have been busy and really enjoyed getting a taste of some spring weather over the last week. The boys were outside form the minute they got up to the minute they went to bed....makes me wonder what we do all winter long:) Unfortunately the rain is back and it looks like it's staying for awhile. Josh is adorable as ever, he mastered sitting up on his own this month and is enjoying sitting up and playing with toys. He smiles and squeals and coos all the time and loves to watch his big brothers. He gets pretty rough housed by them sometimes, particularly Charlie, and he is a great sport about it. He still isn't sleeping through the night, and doesn't really seem close, but he is getting better and better. He progressed out of his crazy sleep suit this month into a
regular sleep sack. While I can't even imagine what even 6 straight hours of sleep feels like anymore, I know it won't last forever, and I'm actually okay with the sleep deprivation, as long as I'm greeted with big happy smiles in the morning. Josh also started to eat solid food this month and is enjoying lots of new tastes. So far oatmeal and bananas for breakfast seem to he his favorite. The other boys are maniacs. Charlie has fully embraced the terrible twos and causes trouble 99% of the day. His current obsessions are basketball and golf. We just ordered him his own set of left handed gold clubs, because despite doing everything else right handed, he golfs left handed and its hard for a lefty to use right handed clubs. He can literally hit the golf ball (even with a backwards club) all the way across the yard, which is pretty insane for a 2 year old. Alec had his first spring soccer game last weekend and did great. We moved him up a level so he is now playing with the kindergartners, who are a full year older than he is, but you would never know it. He scored 4 goals in his first game and seemed to have no trouble fitting right in with the older boys. Pretty much we are 100% sports around here all the time. We also had a fun visit last weekend from Papa Gene. He got to see Alec's soccer game and went with Alec and Matt to a Dad's Day at Alec's school, we played putt-putt, ate out, played outside, did a few house projects and had a great visit. Happy Spring:)

It's nice to see you have a backyard again, not a private lake!
Bless Charlie for being ambidextrous , just like Grammy, however I couldn't possibly swing a left handed golf club, would never happen.
Great to see some pictures of happy, busy, growing boys. I miss you all.
All the pictures just great. Looks like everyone happy to be outside, even working! The first picture of Josh is dear. Charlie with the big squeeze on Josh does explain what you mean about big brothers. Josh looks happy to be with his big brother. I miss you all too. Hope the rain is light and more sun shining for you soon.
Um, so I think Mac and Charlie are the same kid. Mac eats and colors/draws right handed and golfs and bats left handed. He is CRAZY about golf. But I am the deadbeat mom who just makes him play with the righty plastic fisher price clubs. Ha! These two little maniacs need to get together!
That first pic of Josh is so cute!!!
