We have had fun getting ready for Halloween this year - since we grew our own pumpkins we decided not to do the pumpkin patch, but we did head over to the little zoo by our house for some pumpkin photo opps.

We also decided to bake Halloween cookies - and had a little misstep with the mixer
Alec LOVED frosting the cookies, and probably sat with me at the table for an hour and half helping.

James is sitting on my lap and wants to ask Alec if he remembers making Halloween cookies with us last year and when the schnoodle jumped in the learning tower and ate all our dough?! And now I look like a dead beat because James keeps asking why we haven't made Halloween cookies this year. Oops!
Oh and PS-Tim just came in to see and said, "Alec actually looks like Erin in these pictures!"
So, hands on the hips....very GQ.
And I'm laughing out loud at the flour face, how many times I remember that happening. The cookies look good, certainly worth it.
