So Alec and I finally ended our 3 week vacation tour. We got back from Savannah last week, but the following day Matt's extended family from Ohio and his sister came into town and we all headed up to the condo in Beaver Creek. Alec had a great time playing with Reid, and more importantly, throwing rocks and pinecones in the creek. It was great to catch up with everyone and to let Alec spend some time with the fam he doesn't see all that often. It was a full three weeks away from home, and Alec traveled like a champ. We actually wondered how he would react to coming home, but he had no trouble getting right back into his routine. He ran a few laps around the house and then quickly pulled out all of his favorite toys and spread them around before announcing that he wanted to play outide with dog-dog. We are both happy to be back at home and in the swing of things again....at least for now...
